This brand was always going to exist.
ÀÁDÙN & Co. was founded on a simple belief: that wellness rooted in West African botanical tradition belongs in the premium market — not as novelty, but as standard.
For too long, fragrance and wellness for Black women has been either overlooked entirely or served as an afterthought — products formulated without consideration for melanin-rich skin, wellness rituals stripped of cultural context, luxury that asks you to leave yourself at the door.
ÀÁDÙN was built to change the terms.
Every perfume oil in the collection is alcohol-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free — carried in Vitamin E oil that moisturises as it perfumes. Every scent carries a Yoruba name not as decoration but as declaration. Every product is formulated with the understanding that our skin, our rituals, and our inheritance deserve their own standard of excellence.
We draw from West African botanical tradition not because it is trending, but because it has always been here. We are not discovering anything new. We are remembering what was always ours.
Founded by Samira.
Samira is a Lagos-based writer, brand builder, and the founder of ÀÁDÙN & Co. She built this brand from a conviction that fragrance is not frivolous — it is memory, identity, and presence, made wearable.
ÀÁDÙN is her most personal project — a brand she built for YOU, in a city she loves deeply, from a tradition she carries with intention.
Our commitments.
To your skin
Every formula is built around melanin-rich skin. We test, refine, and refuse to compromise on what actually performs.
To the source
We work with trusted blenders and suppliers who understand the botanical tradition we draw from. Our teas are blended by Aunty Tanty, a brand whose craft is the foundation of that range.
To the culture
ÀÁDÙN is a Yoruba word. Our names are Yoruba names. Our inheritance is Yoruba heritage — and it is not for sale as aesthetic. It is offered with full respect for what it means.
